Undergraduate bursaries and scholarships 2018

See the table below for the scholarships and bursaries available to undergraduate students joining us in 2018.

Our scholarships are awarded competitively, usually based on your academic achievements and your scholarship statement in your application form, while bursaries are awarded to all students who meet the eligibility criteria.

You will be able to apply for our scholarships from early 2018.

Donald Davies Computer Science Scholarship 

Cash award of £1,000 in the first year, followed by £500 in the second, third and fourth (for MSci students) years

New Computer Science students with expected outstanding academic results at A-level or equivalent

Future Leaders Scholarship

Full tuition fee waiver for three years

Expected grades of AAA at A-level or equivalent and demonstrable leadership skills

Global Scholarship Programme

Royal Holloway Digicom Scholarship (Turkey)

Tuition fee waiver for three years:

Turkey: £5,000

India: £5,000

Hong Kong: £2,000

International

For students at  schools in Hong Kong, India and Turkey who demonstrate outstanding achievement

International Excellence Scholarship

Tuition fee waiver of £10,000 over three years

International

Students studying any subject with expected grades at A-level of AAA or equivalent

Music scholarships

Choral, Organ, Music and Orchestral scholarships available providing a range of cash awards over three years

Paul & Pamela Layzell Engineering Excellence Scholarship

Tuition fee waiver of £3,500 in first year of degree programme

New students studying an Electronic Engineering degree with expected grades of AAA at A-level or equivalent

Reed Innovation Scholarship

Cash award of £10,000 paid in the first year of degree programme

New student who demonstrates innovation and creative problem solving skills, and with expected grades of AAA at A-level or equivalent

Rob Childs Undergraduate Scholarship

Tuition fee waiver of £10,000 over three years

New student studying an eligible degree within the School of Management with expected grades of AAA at A-level or equivalent

Royal Holloway and Errington Scholarship

Cash award of £1,500 paid in the first year of degree programme

New student studying for an eligbile single honours degree within English, History, Media Arts or Dance with expected grades of AAA at A-level or equivalent

Royal Holloway Engineering Excellence Scholarship

Tuition fee waiver of £3,500 in the first year of degree programme

New student studying a degree within Electronic Engineering with expected grades of AAA at A-level or equivalent

Santander International Excellence Scholarship

Tuition fee waiver of £15,000 over three years

International

New students from countries within the Santander Universities scheme with expected grades of AAA at A-level or equivalent

Sport scholarships

World class, Elite, Performance and International scholarships providing a range of cash awards plus free access to fitness facilities, osteopathy, physiotherapy and parking permit

Students who participate in a sport at national level or above, or have podium or Olympic/Paralympic potential

Waterford Kamhlaba UWCSA Excellence Scholarship

Full tuition fee waiver plus maintenance grant of £9,400

International

Students from Africa attending Waterford Kamhlaba School, preferably studying degree in Mathematics or Science with expected A-level grades of AAA or equivalent

Cash award of £500 in each year of study

Students from a houshold with an income of between £25,000-£30,000
