Governance and strategy

Governance and strategy

We aim to meet the highest standards of good governance and probity and to have a clear strategy that equips us to meet the challenges of a fast-changing world.

Our governance

Our governing body is the College Council. We also have an Academic Board and Executive Team.

Details on our Executive Meeting dates for 2022-23 can be found here.

Our strategy

We have developed a new three-year strategic plan for Royal Holloway. Our 2021 to 2024 strategic plan has been inspired by the Deed of Foundation written for the establishment of one of our founding institutions, Royal Holloway College. It confirms our focus on dual excellence in teaching and research and aligns it to the opportunities and requirements of our modern times to address local and global needs.

Our charitable status

We’re a charity and our trustees are the members of the College Council. Find out more about our charitable status.
