As supply chains become increasingly global and complex, supply chain managers require a range of competencies and leadership skills to manage these emerging business trends.
To meet this need, the role of international supply chain management is changing. Responsiveness, reliability, resilience and relationships are the basis for successful supply chain management. These trends are explored through lectures and case studies to understand the theoretical insights as well as effective practices faced by international supply chains.

MSc Engineering Management
The Engineering Management MSc programme is designed to help you master current and emerging engineering project management issues and the management principles that underpin effective business strategies and outcomes.
Balancing academic theory with practical opportunities, this Engineering Management masters provides tools to manage sophisticated large, complex and multi-disciplinary projects and supply-chains.
The one year course will develop your understanding and skill set to manage complex engineering projects, financial budgets and their place in the bigger picture faced by the wider company.
You will also be exposed to practical knowledge from the science behind renewable energy through to the diverse new world of modern consumer technology design for the home.
A strong emphasis is placed on the scientific and technological revolutions underway and the process of technological convergence which have had a major impact on both the older established engineering industries and the younger electronics, wireless, computer, media and creative industries and internet-based start-ups.

This programme, launched in September 2017, is taught in conjunction with the Department of Electronic Engineering.
Concentrating on the art of managing and marketing film, TV and digital media industry projects, this one year Master’s programme teaches aspiring producers the essential creative, management, digital marketing, business and vocational skills essential for working within the media industry.
The focus is on acquiring fundamental project management skills needed to oversee the life cycle of large creative projects.
Taught by established industry professionals, with close links to the UK media industry, and experienced Project Management professionals, this MA will suit highly motivated students who are seeking a Master’s programme which combines the creative development process with the practical management and digital tools required to manage creative projects from conception to completion.
