New Module: Digital Music Entrepreneurship

New module led by Dr Tom Wagner

  • Date20 June 2022

We will be launching a new module about how individuals and businesses become 'market ready' in the contemporary music industries.

Group in McCrea125

Dr Tom Wagner (Teaching Fellow in Music Performance and Digital Arts) will be leading a new module starting in September 2022 called 'Digital Music Entrepreneurship'.

This module focuses on how individuals and organisations become ‘market ready’ in the contemporary music industries through a course-long individual or small group project in which students develop a plan to bring a new product or service to market. In lectures and workshops, students will be introduced to a variety of digital business tools, which they will use to develop, market, and monetise their work. In doing so, they will develop the knowledge and skills needed to be flexible, entrepreneurial, and successful in the competitive and fast changing digital music industries.
