  • Date30 July 2018

We are delighted that our graduating students have once again reported high satisfaction with their Geography degree from Royal Holloway.

2018 graduation

In the National Student Survey (NSS) results published for 2018, our Geography degrees received an overall satisfaction score of 96% from the final year students who completed the survey. 99% of students said that staff are good at explaining things and 97% of respondents said that the course is intellectually stimulating.

The high overall satisfaction score for 2018 continues a consistent trend of excellent overall ratings in the NSS year on year. High student satisfaction reflects both the quality of teaching our students receive, as well as the wider academic and pastoral support that is provided in the Department.

As a result, Geography at Royal Holloway is ranked among the top ten departments for student satisfaction in the UK (Complete University Guide 2019), recognising that we have an exceptional environment in which to study.
