'Making Community with Ancient and Modern Strangers'

'Making Community with Ancient and Modern Strangers'

  • Date12 February 2024

In the beginning of January, Dr Efi Spentzou participated (virtually!) in the annual meeting of the Society for Classical Studies which was taking place in Chicago.

Efi was part of a panel on Classics and Social Justice and used her slot to share some socially engaged research from her Myth and Voice storytelling for community making project. Efi went to Chicago for another conference in September 2022 and thoroughly enjoyed the event and the city, but was grateful for being given the opportunity to be part of the panel from her living room this time!
