Alumni events

Our events programme runs all year round, and you’re always welcome.

Each year, we organise events and reunions exclusively for alumni in the UK and abroad.

There are also lectures, exhibitions, recitals and concerts at the University year-round which are open to alumni as well as students, staff and the local community. Please check the events calendar to see what’s on.

Borderless Issues in a Bordered World - University of London Thought Leadership event in Singapore
Tuesday 2 April, 6-8pm
An exclusive venue in Singapore (location details will be provided following booking)

Against a backdrop of the hardening of international borders, the United Kingdom is facing an unprecedented change in its relationship with the EU and the global order. Brexit will affect many aspects of the UK’s international partnerships, from trade and investment to education, financial services, innovation, supply chains, and health and wellbeing. Fifty four years after Singapore's independence, and in a contemporary era of economic uncertainty and power shifts, what advice and lessons can Singapore offer to the UK as it navigates the wind of change and re-negotiates regional and international roles?

Join the University of London’s Thought Leadership debate as they welcome guest speakers to explore the evolving relationships between Singapore, the UK and other like-minded collaborators.

Organise an alumni reunion

Reunions are a wonderful way to reconnect with former classmates and help you make new professional contacts. We can support you through the process of organising a reunion, whether it’s a small drinks reception or a whole weekend of activity.

  • Contact the Alumni Relations team to let us know your plans.
  • Decide on a date: we can confirm if the areas on campus you want to visit will be available.
  • Promote the event: let us know the details of the reunion and who you want to come, and we can invite relevant alumni and promote it on our website and social media.
  • Coverage in Higher: we love to hear about reunions, so send us a write-up and photos and we can feature it in Higher Online.

Please contact the Alumni Relations team or +44 (0)1784 414478 for more information.
