Our relationship with the local community is incredibly important to us. We thrive on our close-knit relationship with the area in which we are so lucky to be based and the work we do together will enable us to continue to shape Royal Holloway as a university of social purpose that is connected with and plays a part in the wider community.

Arrivals weekend for new students takes place from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 September, with the new term starting on Monday 18 September.

Our students bring many positives to our local area, from award-winning volunteering initiatives, and creative community events to investment in local businesses in Egham, Englefield Green, and the surrounding areas.

We’re keen that our students settle into their halls and homes safely and become good neighbours to you all and also that they are able to feel a sense of belonging with the wider community. All of the teams at Royal Holloway look forward to collaborating with you to achieve this over the coming year.
