Each year, Royal Holloway hosts a variety of residentials for students interested in experiencing a glimpse of life at university. Our Summer University residentials offer a general overview of what it is like to be a university student, with a range of subject taster sessions. Participants will meet current students and staff while engaging in fun and relevant hands-on activities, and a varied social programme.

Over the course of three days at the Year 12 Summer University, you’ll have the chance to experience student life on our beautiful Surrey campus.

Academic activities

Throughout your stay you’ll take part in a programme of academic workshops, as well as information and guidance sessions about university. Our Student Ambassadors support these sessions, and can give you real-life examples and tips about becoming a university student.
