School of Law hosts conference on preventing torture

The School of Law has hosted an international conference on the prevention of torture.

The School of Law recently collaborated with the University of Bristol Human Rights Implementation Centre to host a seminar on the proventure of torture. Delegates included representatives from the United Nations Subcommittee on Prevention of Torture and other international experts. Read Professor Nick Hardwick's blog summarising the event here.
