Climate Change as a Human Rights challenge: the rise of the human rights-based climate change litigation.

On 6 March, Irene will give a talk on the increasing number of climate change and human rights cases brought before international bodies, regional courts and national courts attempting to create human rights obligations linked to climate action.

During this talk, Irene will have a conversation with Paul Powlesland, Barrister and founder of Lawyers for Nature, on the evolving relationship between human rights and climate change and whether this is truly the way forward towards effective climate action.
