Under the thematic umbrella ‘Seeking Justice: Reconciling with Our Past, Reimagining the Future’, Jenny will present a paper titled: “The Way You Look Tonight': Exploring Love, Longing and Justice Through Stalking Media Portrayals”. By drawing on ‘classic’ stalking movie narratives and relevant research, with this paper she aims to try to ascertain whether (obsessive) love is merely a romanticized stalking media construction or it reflects real-life socio-cultural perceptions about true love.  Implications regarding victims, justice and prevention will be considered and discussed.
