Royal Holloway academics nominated for THE Awards

Two nominations for Royal Holloway, University of London in the 2023 Times Higher Education awards.

Congratulations to Professor Mark Brown from the Department of Biological Sciences, who has been shortlisted for Outstanding Research Supervisor of the Year in the 2023 Times Higher Education Awards.

Professor Brown has actively encouraged students from less privileged backgrounds to continue into doctoral research and is committed to providing opportunities for the next generation of researchers and academics.

Meanwhile, StoryTrails: The People's Metaverse has also been nominated in the Research Project of the Year: Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences category. The UK's largest immersive storytelling project was led by Professor James Bennett from the Department of Media Arts.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday 7 December 2023.
