The University is inviting the local community to visit its ‘Fast forward to the RH2030s’ drop-in event on Saturday 15 June from 11.30am to 2.30pm in the Emily Wilding Davison Building on the University’s Egham campus.

Visitors will be able to see the history of Royal Holloway, where the University is now and where it wants to be in the 2030s. Members of Royal Holloway’s Senior Leadership team will be available to talk to about the new strategy, the University’s new values and what that means for the community.

Being a University of Social Purpose

The University has a proud history of being at the forefront of promoting social change and inclusion, it has been brave from the very beginning. Royal Holloway and Bedford Colleges established an environment that was supportive for those who dared to step beyond what society laid out for them and now it’s Royal Holloway’s role to take this forward.

Royal Holloway has gone from strength to strength and is proud to enable truly inclusive opportunities for education and research to students across its two campuses in Surrey and central London.

The University’s vision is that of a future-facing University of Social Purpose; one that embodies a commitment to using education, research, and student experience as a vehicle for social change, striving towards a better and more inclusive society and world for future generations. Alongside the University’s values, this vision will guide and shape the University as it builds for the next decade of the 2030s; from how the University community interacts with and enables one another to succeed to how it tackles global challenges and place-based issues.

The ‘Fast Forward to the RH2030s’ event on Egham campus offers the chance for the local community to find out about the University’s aspirations for the future.
