What is intercollegiate accommodation?
As part of the University of London, Royal Holloway has access to small number of rooms in intercollegiate halls of residence in central London that is available to postgraduate students. Due to the limited number of places available, these rooms are allocated on a first come first serve basis.
When can I apply?
If you've accepted an offer to study at Royal Holloway on a full-time programme, and the application window is open, you can submit an application to be considered for intercollegiate accommodation.

Submitting an application
You can submit your application for intercollegiate accommodation using our online form. As part of the process you will need to indicate in order of preference the available accommodation options.
What are the available types of accommodation?
For 2018/19 the College has been allocated accommodation in the following intercollegiate halls of residence:
- College Hall (en-suite, catered - £257.95 per week)
- Garden Halls (en-suite, catered - £268 per week)
- Garden Halls (standard superior, self-catered - £199 per week)
- Nutford House (single, shared bathroom, £186.55 to £188.30 per week)

When will I know whether my application has been successful?
As allocation of intercollegiate accommodation will be made on a first come first serve basis we will be able to respond to your application within a couple weeks of receipt.
For successful applicants, your details will then be passed to the University of London Housing Services team who will issue the contracts for intercollegiate accommodation, over the summer months.
Should demand for intercollegiate accommodation exceed the number of rooms available to the College, your application will be held on a waiting list.
