Intercollegiate accommodation

Intercollegiate accommodation

What is intercollegiate accommodation?

Royal Holloway has access to a small number of rooms in Intercollegiate Halls. Located in central London, these properties are managed by the University of London. As the number of places is limited, intercollegiate accommodation is available on a first-come-first-served basis to full-time postgraduate students only.

For 2024/25, students can apply for a small, medium or large single-occupancy, self-catered room with shared facilities in Handel Mansions. The rooms are on 50-week contracts (15 September 2024 to 30 August 2025) and prices start from £246.68 per week.

When can I apply?

Applications for Intercollegiate Halls accommodation for 2024/25 are now closed.

If you require accommodation in Intercollegiate Halls, please contact the University of London directly.

When will I hear on the outcome of my application?

Applications will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis, and you can expect to receive an update within four weeks of submitting your application. In the update we will let you know whether you can expect to receive an offer of intercollegiate accommodation, or if your application is being held on a waiting list.
