Scanning databases for your publications
Staff can set up Pure to scan online sources (Web of Science, Scopus, ArXiv, PubMed, and SAO/NASA Astrophysics Data System) for publications and for a message to be sent when a new publication has been found.
To set up a scan, log on to Pure, click Edit profile and then click Automated search on the left side of the window. Choose the relevant database(s) and add the versions of the name to be scanned for. Remember to click Save when finished.

The scanning is conducted once a week. Once the potential candidates have been found, they will appear on the To-Do List (below) and a notification will be received by email (if this option has been selected).

Click on the Possible matches in .. to open a list of publications (below). The publications can be imported by clicking on the button Import, or remove the publication from the list by clicking on the cross.
