Creating CVs in Pure
Based on the information in Pure, you can create different versions of your CV within the system. CVs in Pure will be automatically updated when you add a new publication, project or activity.
To create a CV, log on to Pure and open the section My CVs and profile. Then click on the button Create new CV.
A new window will open and you will be asked to select a type of CV you want to create (you can change the selection at a later stage by clicking on Properties). Click on Create. Next, select which information entered into Pure you would like to include in your CV and click Create.
A draft CV will now be displayed. When you scroll the mouse over any of the sections, you will see that the area is highlighted and you can edit the content and rearrange the order items.
Click Edit next to each section to determine what types of publications, activities and projects you want to include, in what order and time range, and in what format. You can also make the lists static, which means that you will be able to remove particular items from the list (note, however, that if you make the list dynamic again, the changes you made in the static list will be lost). If you click Edit next to a heading, you will be able to change the wording of the heading.
To add a new section to your CV (including free text information), click on Add section at the bottom of the CV.
When you have finished creating the CV, click on Save at the top right corner. You can also download the CV as a PDF or Word document.
If you save the CV, all new items you enter in Pure will be automatically added to your CV. If you want to delete a saved CV, open the document and click on the red cross at the top right corner. To make a copy of the CV, click on the double-page icon next to the red cross.
