Universities and Science Minister David Willetts Announces Funding

David Willetts, Universities and Science Minister, has announced funding for Royal Holloway's research into agriculture technology under the new agri-tech catalyst scheme.  The pioneering project was awarded funding from the BBSRC as part of the UK Industrial Strategy for Agricultural Technologies.  Professor Gerhard Leubner is leading the project, which involves working with a seed technology specialist company, Germains, to improve seed priming – a technique used to improve the quality of vegetable seeds.
