Alumni Julia Weatherley to sing with Royal Opera

Recent RHUL graduate Julia been invited to sing at the Royal Opera House as part of its Opera Exposures evenings. She will be performing staged scenes from Steven McNeff's, 'The Last King of Scotland' which is being written for the main opera stage.

Julia is currently studying at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire, as TCM trust and Drapers de Turqheim Scholar. Her recent performances include working with Simon McBurney and Complicite on the role of Pamina in the Magic Flute (Mozart) and the Witch in Hansel and Gretel (Humperdinck) for Opera Holloway. She is currently preparing for her Buxton festival debut, and the role of Madga, The Consul (Menotti) for Trinity Laban Opera.
