MA2006 Producing Film and TV

Content:

This course is concerned with introducing the basic concepts of the Producer’s role. It will look at all the elements involved in production and how a Producer contributes to the creative process. It will look in detail at the skills needed to work with writers. It will also examine the managerial aspects of production with particular reference to documentary production.

Assessment:

A script report and a documentary proposal with budget and schedule.
