Consumption, Culture and Marketing (MA)
This programme is an interdisciplinary masters programme that draws together content and teaching from the subject areas of marketing and sociology. You will analyse marketing behaviour with a view to better understand how it functions as a determinative mode of production and mediation, whose influence reaches well beyond spheres of consumer behaviour and marketing management and into politics, culture and the environment.

You will gain an in-depth and critical understanding of a world increasingly defined by a culture of consumerism, and the role played by marketing activities in building strong customer relationships and business opportunities.
Business Information Systems (MSc)
This programme is a direct response to the increasing need for greater understanding of the role advanced technology plays in the workplace and at home. It also addresses the need in industry for executives to understand and appreciate the strategic value of such technology as a source of competitive advantage, both nationally and internationally.
This programme is designed to provide you with an understanding of the entrepreneurial processes at international, regional and national levels, as well as at the level of the community, the firm and the individual. You will gain key skills and knowledge required to develop your projects, from starting a new organisation to developing an entrepreneurial project within an organisation.
International Human Resource Management (MSc)
This programme provides you with a rigorous analytical approach to the subject, with a broad overview of the major areas of IHRM and employment relations policy within multinational companies. You will also focus on the unique managerial challenges which exist between and within, countries and the effect this has for companies operating in multiple countries. You will gain an understanding as to how organisations learn, create and utilise knowledge and respond to the competitive pressures in a globalising knowledge-based economy.

This programme sets the theory and practice of accounting in the context of its social, political, natural and cultural environments. You will reflect on the broader setting and implications of accounting. In addition, you will gain knowledge and understanding of contemporary financial and management accounting.
This programme includes all the major management functions and will enable you to build effective management skills, understand management within the global context and develop a wide international network. It is an AMBA accredited programme. .
MBA International Management and MBA International Management (Year in Business)
This intensive AMBA-accredited programme is designed to help you build effective management skills, understand management within the global context and develop a network of international associates. You will gain detailed knowledge relating to problems of management in different contexts, using conceptual tools for analysing management in the private or public sector and it will provide you with critical awareness of research methodologies.
Sustainability and Management (MSc)
This programme is taught jointly by the Department of Geography, which is recognised for expertise in the research and teaching of environmental and social sustainability and the School of Management, which has a long tradition of research into sustainable businesses.
Our MBA, MSc Entrepreneurship and many of Undergraduate courses have the opportunity to undertake an industry placement. Although the responsibility for finding a placement is ultimately yours, our Careers Team will help you identify suitable opportunities, make applications and prepare you for interviews.
Companies come to our campus from October to May for recruitment fairs, seminars, job advice and presentations. This provides you with the opportunity to find out exactly what they do and discuss whether they offer placements. In addition, our Careers Service holds events in London, such as:
