Moore Building extension

Phase two of the School of Management's £3 million Moore Building extension is now well underway. To be completed autumn 2011, the extension will provide the School with eight seminar/break out rooms, three flexible work pods and social space as well as a new reception area downstairs. Upstairs there will be a large open plan office plus 3 cellular offices for some of the School's administrative support staff. Phase one of the Moore Building extension was completed in 2007, and saw the creation of a state-of-the-art 100-seat lecture theatre plus large glass atrium and walkway. Images of what the new building will look like can be seen on the right.

Other major work being carried out on campus at the moment includes a £1.2 million refurbishment of the Students' Union. Preparations are also being made to host an Olympic Village on campus next summer, to accommodate rowers taking part in the 2012 Olympics at nearby Eton.
