Research Support

Are you REF Open Access ready?

Please remember that articles and conference papers within journals, that are accepted after 1st April 2016 must have the author's accepted manuscript deposited into Pure within 3 months of the date of acceptance in order to be OA eligible for the REF. The Research Support Team is here to provide support and guidance to enable outputs to gain increased visibility and discoverability via OA and to achieve REF OA eligibility.

College PhD theses from 1909 to 1990 digitised and made Open Access

We wish to celebrate Royal Holloway and Bedford New College’s outstanding record of scholarship and promote the research output as widely as possible. We see this collection as being of interest for the theses themselves, and also to throw light on the kinds of research that were undertaken in the earlier years of the College, from the period when the Colleges were for women only, up to more recent years. For more information, please see the Theses page.

Sessions are run for College Staff and PGRs throughout the year, as part of the On Track and RDP programmes, covering how to make the most of your Pure profile, OA and RDM. Please book via the Organisation Development website or the RDP website.
