Professor Andrew Gibson Lectures at the Universities of Tokyo and Hong Kong

On 19 March, Professor Andrew Gibson will be lecturing on `Badiou, Schopenhauer, Wagner' at the University of Tokyo, Japan's premier university, after which his interlocutor will be leading Japanese philosopher Kojin Karatani, author of the recent History and Repetition (Columbia).

On 21 March he will be lecturing on `Beckett and Irish Misanthropic Tradition'.

On 29 March he will be giving a paper to the University of Hong Kong English department seminar entitled `Joyce and the Irish University Question 1880-1908: A Portrait of the Artist, Chapter 5'.
(Columbia).
