Are AS results considered in the admissions decision?

Question:
Are AS results considered in the admissions decision?
Answer:

Yes. AS results are used as a predictor of your A-level performance. A strong set of AS results makes it much more likely that you will be made a conditional offer which is specified in terms of A-level marks. During the confirmation period, AS results could be given considerable weight in borderline cases.
