Charity Bake Sale

Posted on 12/11/2013

Staff and Students Baked up a Storm to raise money for Children in Need and Typhoon Haiyan appeal.

First in was a student who bought in a delicious chocolate cake which diappeared within the hour. Professor Jonathan Wadswoth's fruity banana muffins were a big hit too and were scoffed down before you could say 'Let them eat cake!'

Professor Bob O'Keefe, Vice Principal and Dean of Economics and Management took off with a big boxful but not without making a donation!

The event was a great success with over £400 raised over the two day bake sale with only a bit pf Professor Spagat's chocolate cake left over to show for it.

This event would not have been a success without all your support and we would like to thank everyone for their kind and generous donations!
