Outreach - Earth Sciences

The mission and unifying theme of our Outreach programs is to improve public and student understanding of our planet and Earth sciences . We hope you can share our enthusiasm for our amazing world.

Our micro site for schools giving a brief glimpse at some of the areas we study.

The department  is a keen participant in the UK School Seismology Project.
This programme provides earthquake detectors for UK secondary schools. These instruments are capable of picking up signals from medium sized earthquakes anywhere in the world. As part of this national project, RHUL has installed seismometers in local schools, at no cost to the schools, and we provide support for teaching using this equipment. More.......

We can visit you!
We have some great presentations we'd love to give on some fascinating subjects in Earth Sciences.
