Posted on 05/12/2013

Former Drama/ English student Nicola Sangster, recently back from a world tour with the Globe's all female production of The Taming of the Shrew, will be playing Mariam in a performance of the opening scenes of The Tragedy of Mariam, Fair Queen of Jewry on Saturday 7 December.

This performance marks the 400th anniversary of the publication of Elizabeth Cary's remarkable play - the first play to be written by a woman in English.
