Michael Punter's Darker Shores to open at Hampstead Theatre

Michael Punter, visiting lecturer on our undergraduate Playwriting course and currently completing the first year of his PhD research, has a new play opening at Hampstead Theatre, Dec 3-Jan 16th , and stars Julian Rhind-Tutt (Green Wing, Oliver Twist) and Mark Gatiss (Dr Who, The League of Gentlemen)

It’s 1875. A naturalist travels to a remote house on the Sussex coast to finish his book, but soons finds himself troubled by the house's strange history. Enlisting the help of an American spiritualist, the two embark upon a terrifying journey to find out the truth.
