Former MA Directing student Christos Chanios is currently directing a play by Vaclav Havel at the Library Theatre in Manchester. Havel, a founder-member of Czechoslovak human rights movement Charter 77, became the president of Czechoslovakia in 1989; his playAudience
stages an intriguing encounter between a long-serving brewmaster and Ferdinand Vanek, an idealistic young assistant. Christos' production of Audience
