  • The NCSA Beginner's Guide to HTML

    A tutorial from NCSA, who provided much of the crucial software in the early years of the web.

  • The Bare Bones Guide to HTML

    Very useful reference document if you already know some HTML and need a memory jogger. Also contains links to other sites.

  • The W3C World Wide Web consortium
    The horse's mouth. Specifications, style guidelines, a validation service and lots of other good stuff.
