Emma Freud OBE

BA Drama & Theatre Studies, 1984 Royal Holloway College

Director of Red Nose Day and a co-founder of Comic Relief, Freud has collaborated with her husband Richard Curtis CBE as an associate film producer and script editor on some of the best loved recent British films and television series including Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill and The Vicar of Dibley. She was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2011 Birthday Honours for services to Comic Relief. Emma is a former television and radio presenter (GLR, BBC Radio One and Channel 4) who now writes for The Telegraph on the travails of her family as they leave London to live in New York City for a year.
