Professor Ian Angell (1947-)

Ian Angell is Professor of Information Systems at the LSE. His work concentrates on organizational and national IT policies, on strategic information systems and on computers and risk (both opportunities and hazards), particularly the systemic risks inherent in all socio-technical systems and the security threats posed to organisations by the rapidly diffusing international information infrastructure. He is in great demand as a speaker on the international lecture circuit. Ian was a member of Royal Holloway’s staff until 1986.
