Emily Wilding Davison Wide

Emily Wilding Davison was a student of English Literature at Royal Holloway in 1893.

The centenary of her death as an activist for women’s suffrage was commemorated in the College on 4 June 2013 by a presentation of commissioned stories, poems and reflections.

This project makes these works available online as part of the range of resources provided by the College to aid with KS5 teaching on the themes of women’s suffrage, women’s poetry of WW1, and activism.

This year's TeacherHub Forum, run by Royal Holloway's Department of English, is entitled Suffrage 2018 and Women’s Voices from WW1: Scars upon my Heart’.
