Katie Saise collected the award on behalf of Royal Holloway
Royal Holloway’s Sales and Marketing team has scooped first place in a mystery buyer award.
The award was organised by Venuemasters, a company that actively promotes facilities available for hire at more than 80 UK academic venues, including the College’s Picture Gallery and Windsor Building.
Its mystery buyers call up staff to measure how well sales enquiries are handled over the phone and they are scored accordingly.
Melanie Loizou, Deputy Director Client Services, said, "After receiving dedicated telephone sales training the team gained third place last year and were determined to achieve an even higher score in 2009. We were all delighted to achieve first place with a score of 910 points out of a possible 1000, the highest score recorded to date."
