Developing our campus

Investment programme to enhance our campus

We have been developing our historic estate to provide a 21st century campus that meets the needs of everyone studying and working at our university today and in the future.

We have continued to improve the student experience through a series of investments, including the £57m library and student services centre, as well as our new world-class superconducting nanofabrication facility, SuperFab, and state-of-the-art science building, the Beatrice Shilling Building.

We are now moving forward with several estate development projects, these include the re-opening of the university’s Piggery Gate entrance, a new drone research facility, the refurbishment of the Chestnuts building and the development of Rusham Park student village.
