Robert Jago on Independent Panel for Professional Standards Authority Report

  • Date18 July 2019

Robert Jago, Deputy Head of the School of Law at Royal Holloway, was one of four Independent Review Panel members for a recently published report assessing the risk of harm arising from the practice of sonographers. Health Education England commissioned the Professional Standards Authority to analyse the evidence available under the criteria outlined in 'Right-Touch Assurance: a Methodology for Assessing and Assuring Occupational Risk of Harm' and to provide advice on the most appropriate form of assurance for the role. The Independent Review Panel considered the assessment of the evidence and the options for managing risks arising.
