The Academic Board is responsible for our academic work - teaching, examining and research. It reports to the College Council.
Membership of the Academic Board is defined in the College Statutes. The board’s Terms of Reference and Standing Orders are available here. With the introduction of the new School structure the Terms of reference of all College Committees were amended to reflect new roles and members. The Terms of Reference and membership of Academic Board were not amended to allow for the new structures to take shape over the coming year and to permit consultation on an appropriate, representative membership for the Board going forward. For this reason elected positions to Academic Board were filled for one year as indicated when these were advertised over the summer.
