History Taster Days 2018-19

We are offering five taster days across 2018 and 2019. Join us on 3 October 2018 for American Dreams, American Nightmares: Rethinking US History. This will be followed by:

  • Power and Resistance: Race and Imperialism in the Modern World (December)
  • Rethinking Power: Tudor England and Modern Russia (March)
  • Violence, War and Terrorism: New Historical Perspectives (May)
  • Power and Faith: Crusades and Crusading, 1099-1291 (June)

Come along to one of our 2018-19 taster days to further your knowledge and understanding of A Level History topics, and gain an insight into studying at university.

You will have the opportunity to attend a university lecture, meet academic experts, discuss your historical interests in small groups and join a campus tour to visit our grade I listed Founder's Building.

For pre-booking and further information on our 2018-19 programme of taster days, please contact Dr Christopher Hobbs
