Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE)
SIFE is a not-for-profit organisation which supports students to come up with and carry out projects to promote economic opportunity for the local community and others. These projects help to teach financial literacy, enhance entrepreneurial skills, promote social enterprise and make long term positive impact to the local or wider community. In doing so, students also enhance their own skill sets and become more employable.
Once the projects are carried out, students compete against other Universities in the annual SIFE championships held in Britannia Hotel in Canary Wharf each year. The winner of the National competition will get to represent the UK in the SIFE World Cup, where they will compete against other countries.
