CampusAnywhere (VPN) - Where do I start?
Answer:

The CampusAnywhere VPN (Virtual Private Networking) service allows connections from outside the Royal Holloway network to access restricted college information and services; files shared on PCs; your Y: drive| and W: drive|; and restricted web pages.

CampusAnywhere (VPN) allows remote connection to Royal Holloway network resources using a variety of web browsers detailed below. It works by giving you a Royal Holloway network address.

Note: VPN is not required to access College email.

Prerequisites

  • You must have an internet connection.
  • Only 32-bit browsers are supported.
  • IE11 is currently supported on Windows 8.1 only.

Windows - 32 and 64 Bit versions. Only 32-bit browsers are supported.

  • Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 (IE 11 supported on Windows 8.1 only)
  • Firefox
  • Google ChromeNote: Due to changes with Google Chrome 33 and higher, the F5 VPN Chrome plugin will no longer work. We are currently investigating our options as there is no work around to fix this.
