AHRC TECHNE – making the most of the selection process

What is it?

This event will offer guidance on the 2018 TECHNE application process and a broader introduction to the grants TECHNE offers to staff and students for leading research training activities. The session will also provide advice on how to maximise the chances of student success in the final competition through feedback in the departmental selection process.  It is aimed at Directors of Graduate Studies, Postgraduate Administrators and any academic in the arts and humanities who is interested in putting forward a doctoral student for an AHRC TECHNE DTP (www.techne.ac.uk ) scholarship. The workshop will be led by Professor Ruth Livesey, the  TECHNE Deputy Director.  This is a great opportunity to understand how the selection process works, how to become involved in the wider opportunities offered by the DTP, and how best to support your students within it.
