Royal Holloway London Graduate School is located in the heart of Bloomsbury, central London. We have our historic base at 11 Bedford Square as well as a dedicated suite in the University of London's impressive headquarters, Senate House, opposite the British Museum. New for 2022 is the opening of our exclusive-use, modern teaching spaces in Stewart House. These three buildings, just a few minutes apart, provide an inspiring and vibrant environment to stimulate creative and critical thinking.

The MSc Project Management provides graduates with the necessary knowledge, skills, and tools to become competent Project Managers, a growing area of importance throughout business, industry and government today. While many project management programmes seek to train students on single framework of project management, our programme offers the opportunity to understand a broad range of different frameworks and its core relation to different industry sectors

You will explore complex project management issues and address challenges with advanced skills to meet the growing demand from multi-sector organisations seeking project management professionals. The course enables you to develop your learning on the importance of entrepreneurship, innovation, and the appreciation of core values of ethical and sustainable enterprises in global economies. We also embrace the strategic focus on developing multi and intra disciplinary characteristics of modern project and programme-based environments.

The changing landscape and demand for Global Project Managers is growing and will continue to grow. Our Project Management degree opens the possibilities of multiple routes of employment, re-deployment and advancing existing employment opportunities.

The MSc Engineering Management is designed to address the growing global demand of postgraduate engineers and scientists with management expertise and capabilities to address the complex and changing organisations. The course has a strong emphasis on scientific, technological, and digital advancements with the convergence of established and modern engineering, manufacturing and service focussed industries. It explores the strategic focus of developing multi and intra disciplinary characteristics of modern business enterprises while bridging the 'communication gap' between engineers and managers. You will develop your understanding of the role that management plays in the investigation, implementation and operation of service and manufacturing systems with a wider appreciation of resource utilisation and recovery. The course covers the importance of entrepreneurship, innovation, and the appreciation of core values of ethical and sustainable enterprises in global economies.

Our graduates are well equipped with the knowledge and transferable skill set to enable progression in all disciplines of management roles within both public and private sector organisations. Your skills as a numerate and scientifically trained thinker, along with project and teamwork, business, and enterprise skills, and a sound understanding of the exploitation and benefits of technology and digital tools within workplace will prepare you for a rewarding career.

The MSc Cyber Security Project Management  enables you to explore software project management issues and address challenges with advanced skills to meet the growing demand from multi-sector organisations seeking a software and digital project management skills set.

There is a growing global demand for graduates with specialist cyber security projects expertise and capabilities to address the emerging threats to digital and information security sectors. This course develops the knowledge and skillset to plan, design, and deliver software management projects on time and on budget.  It also has strategic focus on developing multi and intra disciplinary characteristics of modern digital and cyber security project-based environments. The MSc Immersive Technology one-year postgraduate degree focuses on sensory presentation engineering aimed at immersive applications, and considers the hardware and software needs of immersive technology in the practical context of digital presentations. Taught jointly with the Department of Media Arts, MA and MSc students will come together during their projects to support each other in immersive storytelling. Please note this course is unavailable for 2022 entry.

We offer an MSc by Research Electronic Engineering and an MPhil/PhD Electronic Engineering in one of our research areas.

We welcome applications from prospective students who wish to work on projects of particular interest to our academics.

We also welcome applicants wishing to propose their own projects in conjunction with our research interests.

You will be based at our Egham campus for this degree.
