Together with Dr Emilie Ghio (Edinburgh Napier University), Dr Eugenio Vaccari (Lecturer in Law) published a new corporate insolvency book.

English Corporate Insolvency Law: A Primer (EE Publishing 2022) is the first, concise introduction to English corporate insolvency law. It includes commentaries to key sections of relevant legislation, discussions of core cases, as well as elements of critical and theoretical analysis. This condensed, comprehensive and sophisticated overview of the English corporate insolvency framework offers academic and practical guidance on the law as it is written, implemented and practiced in English courts and turnaround cases.

This publication specifically addresses a gap in the market for easy-to-consult and reasonably priced manuals for domestic and international higher-education students, early career researchers and academics new to the field, as well as paralegals, junior legal professionals and non-legal professionals, including bankers and accountants. This is because the manual adopts a hybrid, law-in-books and law-in-practice approach. The use of figures and charts sits alongside some elements of critical analysis of theoretical approaches and the implications of key cases – in order to promote critical thinking and to offer suggestions for further research to the research-oriented audience.

The book is available now in both hardback and eBook version. For more information about a book and for ordering a copy, please follow this link.
