London Quaternary Lectures at Royal Holloway
Join us on Wednesday 11th November 2026 for the London Quaternary Lectures at Royal Holloway. This year we are welcoming Professor Nicky Milner, who will speak on postglacial climate, environment and archaeology at Star Carr and Flixton Island, followed by Professor David Thornalley on abrupt climate events and the question: Does Melting Matter? The talks begin at 4pm, with a reception from 6.30pm in the Shilling Lecture Theatre. All staff, students and visitors are welcome. We hope to see you there.
