Learn to demystify numbers, statistics, facts and figures

Professor Michael Spagat will be running the Survival Statistics Course next term, starting on Monday 21^st January at 18.00 (see the poster below). Attendees will be eligible for 15 Passport Points.

The course is open to all students from all year groups and disciplines, and is a particularly excellent resource for Economics students. The focus of the sessions is on demystifying numbers, revealing the pitfalls and tricks behind the facts, figures and statistics that you might see in the news, in the media and in everyday life.

There are 4 sessions in total, and you’ll need to register your intention to attend each through Eventbrite:
