Our campus in Egham, Surrey, is one of the most beautiful in the world with numerous teaching and study spaces, bars and cafés, high-quality accommodation, and sports facilities, in 135 acres of stunning parkland. The campus is just 40 minutes by train from London and seven miles from Heathrow.

We also have a base in central London, in historic Bloomsbury, enabling you to enjoy an urban experience and access to all the networks and facilities the capital offers.

Our teaching staff are experienced researchers, and/or practitioners. Our tutors deliver innovative teaching and our programmes are developed with advice from leading professionals in relevant industries. Our high quality teaching is delivered through a mixture of face-to-face and online sessions, and focuses on building independent research and enquiry skills from the earliest parts of the course. All our students are supported by our Careers Service to enable them to pursue their further careers.

This course is designed for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in management within Human Resources, or a related area. It will provide you with a rigorous and critical approach to human resource management strategies and practices, which you will assess from a range of theoretical and analytical perspectives. You will also consider them in terms of their social and economic context, examining their implications and impact for a range of stakeholders and interest groups. The modern workplace, and the staff working within it, are changing rapidly and this course will give insight into how to manage and inspire change within the Human Resources function of an organisation.

You will join an intellectually stimulating, friendly and supportive business and management school environment and, through working closely with our expert and experienced academic staff, you will end the course in a strong position to realise your full potential. Gaining a deep understanding of international human resources management, coupled with a practical set of skills, you will enhance your career prospects in management either within human resources or a related field.

Duration Four months

Timetable We anticipate approximately six hours of teaching time per week, across two days per week (exact days TBC). Teaching will take place through a 50/50 combination of on-campus face-to-face and online classes. There is an expectation of a further 10 hours a week of independent study.

This specialist digital marketing course you will gain a 360 degree perspective of digital marketing from digital branding and advertising to the consumer journey and metrics. On completion you will be able to create and analyse digital strategies and make well-informed tactical and strategic decisions, having studied in the context of our distinctive critical ideology. You will be confident in using acquired skills to communicate strategies to stakeholders at all levels.

You’ll gain an understanding of the forces at work and knowledge of sophisticated tools in order to strategically manage both large, complex, technology-based supply chains, as well as more traditional ones. You’ll cover logistics and procurement, often across national boundaries, companies, regions, and time-zones.

Our focused and highly relevant curriculum is based on current thinking and real-world experience and needs in managing supply chains globally, as technologies, markets and the international business and trade environment are changing fast. You’ll learn from senior academics and experienced practitioners, with input from CEOs and senior executives across a range of industries. These industry connections have informed the content and design of the course.

Entry requirements

For the courses listed above, we are seeking individuals who have at least 12 months’ experience within a professional environment at British Airways. Previous study at undergraduate level or higher is advantageous, but not essential. Please contact us via the enquiry form at the top of this page to discuss your qualifications.

Fee and how to pay

Each PG Cert above is £3,900*

*Eligible BA staff will be entitled to 10% discount, see below

Eligibility criteria and terms and conditions of offer

To qualify for the 10% discount, you must be a current British Airways (BA) employee or have left BA within the last 12 months. Proof of eligibility will be required. Only one discount applies; cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, scholarship, bursary or offer.
