Royal Holloway's overall satisfaction score has risen again in this year's National Student Survey.
Royal Holloway has again improved its score in the National Student Survey (NSS). The University's overall positivity score rose to 85.2%, up from 83.0% last year, positioning Royal Holloway 55th overall out of 123 Universities (up from 69 in 2025).*
Professor Emma Mayhew, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education and Student Experience), said: "These are fantastic results. They are a testament to our outstanding colleagues, from across teaching, professional services and technical teams, who dedicate their time and expertise to supporting the student experience every single day.
"They also come from listening to students and acting on what they tell us. Their feedback changes how we teach and support them, and that shows in these scores.”
The NSS is run by the Office for Students. It collects students' views on the quality of their courses, informs prospective students' choices, helps universities improve, and supports public accountability.
*This UK positioning is produced by measuring the percentage of question positivity (questions 1 to 24) for all institutions listed in the Guardian University Guide.
