The Students’ Union Summer Ball 2026 is set to take place on Friday 5 June 2026 from 8pm to 6am in Founder’s Square on our Egham campus.

The Students’ Union remain conscious of the impact that this annual event may have on the local community, and it is once again taking preventative steps this year to mitigate any potential disturbance.

This includes conducting regular sound monitoring checks and switching the event to headphone performances from midnight, reducing the impact of late-night noise.

Tony Logan, Chief Executive of RHSU, said: “This event is a very important spectacle in our student's calendar, allowing them to celebrate their achievements and the end of another exciting and diverse academic year. We are very aware of the impact that an event such as this can have on the local community and we are committed to responding to, and wherever possible, taking action to redress issues.

"We are liaising with Runnymede Borough Council Environmental Health staff and other agencies, to ensure any disturbance is kept to a minimum. I want to take this opportunity to thank local community groups for their continued engagement and apologise in advance should this annual event unduly impact your evening.”
