Conservation
We have a team of freelance painting, paper, textile and frame conservators who help the us care for the collections. We have an ongoing conservation programme to make sure that our works of art are displayed and stored in as best an environment as possible. This includes adding glazing to all works on display in our Picture Gallery and monitoring the temperature and humidity levels in our art store and in the gallery, which is within the Grade 1 listed Founder’s Building.
Volunteers
